In her current role as Senior Director of Statistical Programming, Ms. Quick uses her deep industry experience and CDISC knowledge to develop strategic high-performing global programming and data standards teams to bring technical expertise and efficiencies to sponsor projects of all sizes. Her experience with data standards integration and reporting from study start to submission spans a variety of therapeutic areas with a focus on pain, CNS, and OA.
Ms. Quick is actively involved in industry groups such as CDISC and PhUSE where she provides input as a member of several working groups.
Why Clinical Research?
“I was generally attracted to a career in clinical research, but I specifically chose to work at a CRO for the variety of experience that comes from exposure to multiple sponsors and therapeutic areas. I am enthusiastic about each opportunity to partner with our clients and guide them through a solution that meets the individual needs of their program.”
This is what drives Charity:
“The use of FDA required CDISC data standards is not new to clinical research, but this area of work can still impose costly delays if not designed into data collection from the start and implemented seamlessly through to submission by a core team of experts. I believe that biometrics should not be treated like an assembly line that tosses data from one work station to the next. This type of data handling is all too common and inevitably results in knowledge gaps, re-work, and quality loss. I am committed to maintaining data stewardship throughout the life of the project and being a part of a team that produces a better, faster product for patients in need.”
