Why Clinical Research?

“As a practicing physician, moving into the clinical research field was an opportunity to broaden my knowledge and experience. My career in clinical research started in 2006 as clinical trials were gaining popularity in Eastern Europe. I started as a clinical research associate for an asthma study and additionally as a clinical research coordinator for a study site participating in a multiple resistant tuberculosis program, and that opportunity gave me the experience and confidence to become an expert in the respiratory field. I enjoy developing relationships with key opinion leaders, and I’m excited to support the ongoing progress toward the development of promising treatments for patients suffering from pulmonary diseases.”
