Awards program recognizes dynamic and outstanding leaders

Research Triangle Park, NC – February 10, 2022 –Rho, a full-service contract research organization (CRO) with a proven track record of drug development success, today announced that its Chief Operating Officer (COO), Tara Gladwell, has received a 2022 Women in Business Award from the Triangle Business Journal (TBJ).

The award recognizes Triangle-area women who are outstanding, accomplished leaders in business and/or community service. Twenty-eight winners were selected from around 200 entries and will be recognized on March 24 at an awards luncheon in Cary, North Carolina. Winners will be profiled in the March 25 subscriber edition of the TBJ.[1]

Ms. Gladwell was appointed as COO of Rho in May 2021. As the first person from outside the company’s founding family to hold a C-suite position, she provides strategic direction and oversight to business development, clinical trials operations, regulatory strategy and submissions, and biometrics. Prior to her promotion, she most recently served as Senior Vice President of Operations in her 20-year company tenure.
